Hi!

Welcome to KCA University!

I’m quite sure you’re really anxious, scared or even shocked at how huge this University is. Maybe you’re wondering…how am I going to fit in into this huge University, I mean, who will even care for me or say “Hi!” or just welcome me? You may feel quite useless whenever you see the many students walking around the compounds, in the toilets, in the classes and everywhere. It’s very easy to give up, look down on yourself or even want to leave the school because you may not personally fit with many students and even lecturers alike.

But I’m here to tell you that you’re not alone, you never made any mistake coming into this University in the first place. Many students walk into this huge University feeling depressed, alone and even feeling not wanted at all. But don’t even think of looking down on yourself. You’ve come from far, and you’ll truly go far in this University and ultimately in life. What you need to start with is by believing in yourself; that you can conquer anything that comes on your way no matter what; you may at first not have any friends to talk to or even say “Hi”, but with time, you’ll start realizing, “Wow!!! I wish I never thought I’d not make it at the very beginning!”, because the first moments of anything or of any big step in your life, you’ll always feel that it’s bigger than you, much much bigger, but as you live your life, slowly you begin to realize, adapt and have hope that all will be well. You’ll love this University once you realize the amazing opportunities that are awaiting you! There’s hope, there’s nothing that you cannot do in this life if you just believe, set you mind to it, pray and find the hope that will let you achieve it as long as you have peace in yourself with whatever it is that you are willing to do. So don’t lose hope in this short journey, don’t look down on yourself no matter what or who comes in your life, don’t listen or waste your time with people or things that will not benefit you at all (like foolish gossips), be thankful and grateful for the far that you have come, show love to others, love and believe in yourself and finally put God first place in everything that you do, be it in classes or events, because He loves you more than anything in life!

You’ll make it, that I promise you!

In the next post, I’ll be giving you all the Head-starts into knowing this University, from the start of the gate to knowing all the buildings and institutions here and what they are for, to even where you can easily pay for your school fees without moving to and fro in Nairobi town! Keep on reading…
